In short

Weblym does not use cookies, neither its own nor third-party ones.
There is no advertising, and no analytics or tracking tools from other companies.
In your browser we store what is essential for the app to work, which does not require permission.
The only thing we ask when you arrive is whether we may count your visit anonymously. If you reject it, it is not counted and the site works exactly the same.

1. What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file that a website leaves in your browser and that the browser sends back on every visit. They are often used to remember who you are or to follow what you do across websites. Weblym does not use any.

2. What we do store in your browser

We use the browser’s local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage), which is not sent with every visit and can only be read by Weblym itself:

All of this is essential for the site to work and is not used for analytics or tracking.

3. How we count visits

To know how many people visit Weblym, each page tells our server that it has been opened. The server turns this into daily totals (how many visits, from what type of device, which website people came from) and stores nothing that identifies anyone: not your IP address, not a cookie, not an identifier.

We only do this if you accept it in the notice that appears when you arrive. If you reject it, or until you answer, your visit is not counted. You can change your answer whenever you like:

4. In published stores

Stores created with Weblym do not use cookies either. They store the buyer’s shopping cart in their browser and, if they sign in to their customer account, their session in that store. Each store stores its own data and cannot read another’s.

5. How to delete it

You can delete all of the above from your browser settings, in the site data section. If you do, you will be signed out and your preferences will go back to the defaults.
